Capertee Valley Soaps began with a simple need — to create something gentle, nourishing, and free from chemicals
for our own family.
Living on our farm in the beautiful Capertee Valley in New South Wales, we are surrounded by wide open spaces, fresh air, and the quiet rhythm of country life. Like many rural families, we value simplicity, self-sufficiency, and knowing exactly what goes into the things we use every day.
Our journey started with our dairy goats. What began as a small part of farm life quickly became something more meaningful, as we discovered just how incredible fresh goat milk is for the skin — soothing, hydrating, and naturally rich in nutrients. Wanting a better alternative to commercial products, we began crafting our own soaps in small batches, using traditional methods and carefully selected ingredients.
What started in our home has grown into Capertee Valley Soaps — a collection of handcrafted products made with intention, care, and a deep connection to the land.
Every bar we make is created using fresh goat milk from our own goats, blended with nourishing oils, natural clays, essential and fragrance oils. We keep our formulations simple and purposeful, focusing on creating products that cleanse gently while supporting healthy, balanced skin.
Our way of life continues to shape everything we do. Living off-grid, we rely on solar power and rainwater, and we are always mindful of reducing waste and working in harmony with our environment. We believe that good products don’t need to be complicated — they just need to be made well, with integrity and care.
Each soap is still made by hand, in small batches, right here on our farm. No two bars are exactly the same, and that’s part of their beauty — a reflection of the handmade process and the natural ingredients within them.

I do not use palm oil in my soaps.
Living and working off-grid is part of who we are. Our farm is powered by solar energy and supplied by rainwater, allowing us to create our goat milk skincare with care for both your skin and the environment. It’s a slower, more mindful way of working — one that values sustainability, simplicity and connection to the land.
Our goats live a wonderful life with the farm to explore each day eating a balanced diet of grasses, tree leaves, roughage, fruit/veg and hay.
All my products are cruelty free.
Our formulations are carefully crafted without harsh chemicals, sulphates, silicones or phthalates. Instead, we focus on simple, natural ingredients that work in harmony with your skin.
All packaging used is biodegradable or can be recycled.
I use only sustainable oils.
